But this was the month I finally, after many years, went back to the theater again. I think the last time I went was for **Joker**. And this month I went to 3 movies, one of them by myself! ## General Highlights ### Favorite Movies ![[Movie Journal 2024-09 - September-20240930185233319.jpg]] ![[Movie Journal 2024-09 - September-20240930185249776.jpg]] ![[Movie Journal 2024-09 - September-20240930185321287.jpg]] ![[Movie Journal 2024-09 - September-20240930185329870.jpg]] ![[Movie Journal 2024-09 - September-20240930185337090.jpg]] So many nice movies, and these 5 were awesome! **Labyrinth** went straight up to my 4 favorites, and **The Witch** went to top 10 of the year. **Strange Darling** was an incredible experience in the theater, going in blind. **Arsenic & Old Lace** is a crazy screwball comedy that I had a lot of fun with, and **Beetlejuice Beetlejuice** was a great last movie of the month pick! ### Disappointments I expected more from **Black Christmas** and both **Sleepaway Camp I & II**. ### Plain, Dumb, Sexy Fun I watched a few movies with a bit more skin, and they were a lot of fun: **Nightmare Sisters** and **Night Of The Demons** are great 1980s b-horror movies with queen Linnea Quigley. **Sex & Zen** is an action sex comedy that it's completely bonkers and a totally pleasant surprise.
