Brusatte I've been interested in this book for a looooong time, but never got to it. Now it was finally time and how glad I am that I picked it up! Steve Brusatte does an amazing job at blending personal anecdotes, telling a story and teaching a lot about the dinosaurs and the world at that time. Now I'm currently reading his follow-up book, [[Steve L. Brusatte#The Rise and Reign of the Mammals|The Rise And Reign of the Mammals]], and also having a good time with it so far! ![[The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs Cover.png]] ![[The Rise and Reign of the Mammals Cover.png]] ## Death at a Highland Wedding by Kelley Armstrong > [!figure-right] ![[Cover Death at a Highland Wedding.png]] This is the 4th novel in the [[A Rip Through Time]] series (plus 2 novellas). As always, it's a great mystery and beautifully written. I enjoyed it a lot and plan on continuing with the series - the next novella should release in December 2025. One thing that stood out though is that this one seems to be a bit more on the nose on "women had it hard in Victorian times and it's still bad now". But that did not make it any less enjoyable.
